Since we have been going to the library on Thursdays, we have not been writing in our gratitude journals for Thankful Thursday. I decided we need to get back to this (although I do love a good alliteration)  Thankful Wednesday doesn't have the same ring to it but none-the-less...

We talked about what we are thankful for connected to the bird observations we have been doing.

"I am thankful for hawk eggs."

Can you see Big Red the Red-Tailed Hawk and her eggs?

"I am thankful for the eggs hatching."

"I am thankful for the owlets."

Speaking of the owlets, the barred owl babies are starting peek out of the nest box. They will venture out and be flying soon!
